Last June I began this blog as a means of getting a message out. The message was whatever you dream, you can become. It was thought it would be a means of promoting myself as a life coach. My dream is still to be a life coach but my avenue to becoming a “paid” life coach is still waiting. I am a full-time mom who homeschools a special needs child. So, do I do everything I should do to get my dream off the ground. No. Half of my day is spent homeschooling (gotta love homeschooling) and driving to various therapists for my guy. The other half is supposed to be when I work on my business. Doesn’t really work like that. People need rides to or from places, housework, did I mention we are in the middle of a remodel? I need to find various people to assist me in promoting my business. Still working on that. My point is, it looks like I have lots of obstacles, but I don’t give up. If something is important to you, you make it a priority. I keep readjusting. I make a plan and I stick to it until I complete it or I need to readjust.
And then something comes along and attempts to swing the entire plan off the rails. First, my shoulder seized up. It was weeks before I could write or drive. Then my husband’s gallbladder decided it was time to part company. Not expected but ok. Life happens. Take time to recoup, reevaluate, and readjust. Then get back to it. It’s important to me so I keep plugging away. Giving up would be easier but not nearly as satisfying. I do have a dream, but the process is teaching me what is really important to me. I love that you are giving your likes and comments. It tells me I am living my dream and to keep hanging in there.
