How much do I make again?

I really like JD Roth of getrichslowly.org. He says things in a way that make sense. In his article, https://www.getrichslowly.org/how-to-compute-your-real-hourly-wage/ he breaks down how to determine how much you’re actually making if you add or subtract commute times, phone calls and emails on off hours, and even wardrobe costs. It made me think about valuing my time better. I’m actually worth more than I give myself credit for. This isn’t narcissism, it’s about cutting myself some slack and cutting down on my stress. Our culture doesn’t allow us to put ourselves first and it tells us that we have to accept what the employer has to offer.  This isn’t necessarily true. By really understanding how much we make we might be able to work out a better solution. In other words, educate yourself and see if this doesn’t open up more options.
